New controls: WASD movement and a dash on Shift

MU FAVORITE has new controls: you can move your character with the W, A, S, D keys, and Shift makes a quick dash in the direction you are moving. Dodge, chase, burst into a fight and step out of a blow, like in modern action games, but in the MU Online you love.

WASD movement

  • W, A, S, D move up, left, down and right on the screen.
  • Two keys at once move diagonally.
  • Release the keys and the character stops on the tile he stepped onto.
  • The mouse works as before: while the left button is held, it leads. Keyboard and mouse mix freely.

Dash on Shift

  • Shift + a direction makes an instant dash of up to 5 tiles the way you are going.
  • 1 second cooldown: you can keep moving in dashes almost without a break.
  • Everyone sees the dash: the server moves the character, and other players see him slide to the new place.
  • A skill right after the dash: press a skill during the dash and it fires the very moment the character lands.
  • Aiming at a foe: if an enemy you can attack is within 6 tiles and nearly in line with the dash, the dash goes straight at him and stops right next to him.
  • Walls and closed gates stop the dash, including the castle gates during a siege.
  • In the safe zones of towns the dash does not work.

The dash and other mechanics

  • A knight with Defense selected dashes with his shield raised, and the nearest enemy ahead of him takes a stunning shield bash. More in the news "New skill: Shield Bash".
  • On a mount the dash becomes your mount's jump: Fenrirs and horses leap forward, back and to the sides, and the golden Fenrir the farthest. More in the news about riding a Fenrir.

How to start

The new controls are already in the game: just update the client through the launcher. Try the combo: dash at an enemy and use a skill as you land.

All the keys and details are in the guide New controls: WASD movement and a dash on Shift.
